From Catherine: I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Morgan State University in 2011 and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Latin/x Mental Health from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Chicago Campus) in 2014. I did my internship at a community mental health agency in Chicago and I have worked as a therapist for community mental health agencies since becoming licensed in Maryland in 2016. I chose community mental health because I wanted to help people who looked like me and other minority populations get the access they need to quality mental health care. I have experience working with adults who experience severe and persistent illnesses like Schizophrenia and Bipolar, as well as people navigating addiction issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, cultural related issues, life transitions, relationships, and more. I believe that every client is an expert on themselves and what they need, I'm just here to help guide them to their own answers. https://headway.co/providers/catherine-marner?utm_source=pem&utm_medium=direct_link&utm_campaign=90772
